Gurnard Red Mullet Recipe
Ingredients:
- 4 Gurnard red mullet fillets
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Season the Gurnard red mullet fillets with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
- Add cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for 3-5 minutes, until the tomatoes start to soften. Stir occasionally.
- Transfer the sautéed garlic and tomatoes to a baking dish. Arrange the seasoned Gurnard red mullet fillets on top of the tomato mixture. Add lemon slices on top of each fillet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Serving Suggestions:
Sprinkle fresh chopped parsley on top of the fish before serving. This dish pairs well with steamed rice or roasted vegetables. Enjoy!
