Indonesian Beef Meatball Recipe
Ingredients:
- 500g ground beef
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp white pepper
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup fried shallots
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, egg, minced garlic, ground coriander, salt, and white pepper.
- Once mixed, take about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and form it into a ball. Repeat until all of the mixture is used up.
- Roll each meatball in the breadcrumbs, making sure they are coated evenly.
- In a large frying pan, heat the vegetable oil on medium-high heat. Once hot, add the meatballs and fry until they turn golden brown and are cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Serve hot with fried shallots sprinkled on top.
