Indonesian Beef Meatball Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 500g ground beef
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp white pepper
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup fried shallots
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, egg, minced garlic, ground coriander, salt, and white pepper.
  2. Once mixed, take about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and form it into a ball. Repeat until all of the mixture is used up.
  3. Roll each meatball in the breadcrumbs, making sure they are coated evenly.
  4. In a large frying pan, heat the vegetable oil on medium-high heat. Once hot, add the meatballs and fry until they turn golden brown and are cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Serve hot with fried shallots sprinkled on top.
