Lamb Chops with Espelette Pepper Recipe
Ingredients:
- 4 lamb chops
- 2 teaspoons of sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 2 teaspoons of Espelette pepper
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season lamb chops generously with sea salt and black pepper.
- Sprinkle Espelette pepper on both sides of lamb chops.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, warm olive oil.
- Add lamb chops to the skillet and cook for about 3 minutes per side, until browned.
- Place the skillet in the preheated oven and roast for 10-12 minutes until the internal temperature reads 145°F (63°C) for medium-rare or 160°F (71°C) for medium.
- Remove from oven and let the lamb chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
