Oriental Prawn Linguine Recipe
Ingredients:
- 350g linguine
- 1 lb prawns, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 red chilli, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp ginger, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/2 cup vegetable broth
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions:
- In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Meanwhile, in a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the prawns and cook for 2-3 minutes per side or until pink and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the chilli, garlic, and ginger and saute for 2-3 minutes or until fragrant.
- Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, and vegetable broth to the skillet. Stir well to combine and bring to a simmer.
- Return the prawns to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce also.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
