Pasta with blue cheese sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 pound dried pasta (we recommend Fusilli or Penne)
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot with salted water and bring to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Slowly pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine with the butter and garlic. Simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce has thickened and coats the back of a spoon.
  4. Add the crumbled blue cheese to the skillet and stir to melt. Season with black pepper to taste.
  5. Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet with the blue cheese sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!

Verdict

This creamy blue cheese pasta is a decadent and delicious dish that is perfect for a cozy dinner at home. The pungent flavor of the blue cheese pairs perfectly with the rich and creamy sauce, creating a pasta dish that is both comforting and sophisticated.
