Pollack with Aioli Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 pollack fillets, 150g each
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lemon, cut into 4 wedges
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Aioli Ingredients

  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200C.
  2. Lay the pollack fillets on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, brush with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the fish flakes apart with a fork.
  4. While the fish is baking, make the aioli by whisking together the egg yolk, garlic, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice in a medium bowl.
  5. Slowly pour in the olive oil while continuing to whisk until the aioli is thick and creamy.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve the pollack fillets with the aioli and lemon wedges on the side.
