Quiche Recipe without Zucchini Pastry

Ingredients:

  • 1 pie crust (store-bought/pre-made or homemade)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup diced mushrooms
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F/190°C.

  4. Place the pie crust in a deep 9-inch or 10-inch tart pan. Pour the egg mixture into the crust and spread it evenly. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown. Cool the quiche for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
