Rabbit with Cider, Apples and Pears Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 rabbit, cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 onions, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 apples, peeled and chopped
- 2 pears, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup cider
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Season the rabbit pieces with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and brown the rabbit pieces on all sides. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
