  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil leaves

  • 1/4 cup sliced pepperoni

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  3. Add the cold butter cubes and use a pastry blender or your hands to mix the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Gradually add in the ice water, a tablespoon at a time, until the dough starts to come together and forms a ball.
  5. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface into a 12-inch (30cm) circle and transfer it to a pizza pan or baking sheet.
  6. Spread the pizza sauce over the dough, leaving about 1/2 inch (1.25cm) of space around the edges.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the pizza, followed by the chopped basil, sliced black olives, and pepperoni.
  8. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
