Smoked Herring and Hazelnut Barley “Risotto” Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 lb smoked herring fillets
- 1 1/2 cups pearled barley
- 4 cups vegetable broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chopped hazelnuts
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions:
