Tian with Raclette from Valais AOP Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 lbs potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 lb zucchini, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 lb cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lb Raclette cheese from Valais AOP, grated

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, warm the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the onions and garlic and sauté for 5 minutes, until translucent.
  4. Add the potatoes and zucchini. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Cook for 10-15 minutes until the vegetables are soft. Stir occasionally.
  6. Transfer the cooked vegetables to a large baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle the grated Raclette cheese over the vegetables.
  8. Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the top of the cheese.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve this tian with raclette from Valais AOP hot out of the oven, accompanied by a nice salad or some crusty bread on the side. This dish is perfect for a dinner party or a cozy night in with friends or family.
