Truffled white pudding and salted butter caramel apples: gourmet recipe (4 steps)

Truffled White Pudding and Salted Butter Caramel Apples

Ingredients:

  • 1 white pudding, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon black truffle oil
  • 4 large Granny Smith apples, peeled and cored
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place sliced white pudding on it. Drizzle with black truffle oil and bake for 15-20 minutes, until lightly browned.
  2. While the pudding is cooking, cut apples into 1/4-inch slices and set aside. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add brown sugar and stir until dissolved. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 3-5 minutes, until mixture thickens and turns darker in color. Add heavy cream and sea salt and stir until smooth and combined.
  3. Remove pudding from oven and arrange on a serving plate. Pour caramel sauce over sliced apples and toss to coat. Place apple slices around the white pudding. Serve immediately.
  4. Enjoy the decadent flavors of truffle, caramel, and apple in every bite. Perfect for a gourmet dessert or a special occasion!
