Truffled White Pudding and Salted Butter Caramel Apples
Ingredients:
- 1 white pudding, sliced
- 1 tablespoon black truffle oil
- 4 large Granny Smith apples, peeled and cored
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place sliced white pudding on it. Drizzle with black truffle oil and bake for 15-20 minutes, until lightly browned.
- While the pudding is cooking, cut apples into 1/4-inch slices and set aside. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add brown sugar and stir until dissolved. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 3-5 minutes, until mixture thickens and turns darker in color. Add heavy cream and sea salt and stir until smooth and combined.
- Remove pudding from oven and arrange on a serving plate. Pour caramel sauce over sliced apples and toss to coat. Place apple slices around the white pudding. Serve immediately.
- Enjoy the decadent flavors of truffle, caramel, and apple in every bite. Perfect for a gourmet dessert or a special occasion!
