Baked Salmon Steaks Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon steaks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt and black pepper.
  3. Place salmon steaks onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Brush the marinade generously on each salmon steak.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the salmon steak. The salmon is cooked properly when it flakes easily with a fork.

Serving suggestions:

Serve the baked salmon steaks with a side of roasted asparagus or a simple salad. You can also add a dollop of garlic butter on top of the salmon steaks for extra flavour. Bon appétit!
