Cannelloni with Spinach, Ricotta, Walnuts, and Ham

Ingredients

  • 12 cannelloni tubes
  • 300g spinach
  • 250g ricotta cheese
  • 50g walnuts, chopped
  • 100g ham, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 400g canned tomatoes
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 100g grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  2. Cook the cannelloni tubes according to the instructions on the package. Drain and set aside.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and sauté until soft, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the canned tomatoes, oregano, salt, and pepper to the pan. Stir well and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Add the spinach, ricotta cheese, walnuts, and ham to the pan. Mix well.
  6. Fill each cannelloni tube with the spinach and ricotta mixture. Place the tubes in a baking dish.
  7. Pour the tomato sauce over the cannelloni tubes and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the top is golden brown and the cannelloni is cooked through.
