Cappuccino and Chocolate Crumble Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped dark chocolate
- 1/4 cup finely ground espresso
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, ground espresso, and salt. Cut in the cubed butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the chopped chocolate and set aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the egg yolk and heavy cream. Add this mixture to the crumble and stir until just combined.
- Spread the crumble mixture onto the prepared baking tray and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Allow the crumble to cool before serving.
