Cappuccino and Chocolate Crumble Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped dark chocolate
  • 1/4 cup finely ground espresso
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, ground espresso, and salt. Cut in the cubed butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Stir in the chopped chocolate and set aside.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg yolk and heavy cream. Add this mixture to the crumble and stir until just combined.
  5. Spread the crumble mixture onto the prepared baking tray and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Allow the crumble to cool before serving.

Serving Suggestions
