Endive Gratin: Gourmet Recipe
Ingredients:
- 6 endives, trimmed and halved lengthways
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp plain flour
- 500ml whole milk
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 150g grated Gruyere cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 200° C.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add endives and cook for 5 minutes. Drain and allow to cool.

- Arrange the endives in an ovenproof dish. Pour the sauce over the endives and sprinkle Gruyere cheese on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Serve hot.
