Ground Turkey Chili Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cans kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup water
  • Chopped fresh cilantro, for garnish(optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a large pot or Dutch oven, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until no longer pink.
  2. Add the onion and garlic, and cook until the onion is tender.
  3. Add the kidney beans, corn, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce and stir well to combine.
  4. Add the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt and black pepper and stir to combine.
  5. Add the water and stir well. Bring the chili to a boil over high heat.
  6. Reduce the heat to low and let the chili simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro, if desired.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
