Ground Turkey Chili Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cans kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can corn, drained
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 cup water
- Chopped fresh cilantro, for garnish(optional)
Instructions:
- In a large pot or Dutch oven, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until no longer pink.
- Add the onion and garlic, and cook until the onion is tender.
- Add the kidney beans, corn, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce and stir well to combine.
- Add the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt and black pepper and stir to combine.
- Add the water and stir well. Bring the chili to a boil over high heat.
- Reduce the heat to low and let the chili simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro, if desired.
