Homemade Kebab Recipe with Turkey

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, minced onion, chopped parsley, minced garlic, olive oil, ground cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions, and shape each one into a long and thin sausage shape around a skewer.
  4. Grill the kebabs over medium-high heat, turning occasionally until cooked through and golden brown on all sides (about 12-15 minutes).

Serving Suggestions:

Serve the kebabs hot off the grill, with some pita bread, hummus, and a side salad for a complete Mediterranean-inspired meal. You can also serve the kebabs with roasted vegetables, such as peppers, onions, and zucchini for a more hearty meal. Enjoy!
