Hummus Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 2 tablespoons of tahini
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 2-3 tablespoons of water, as needed

Instructions:

  1. In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, cumin, and salt.
  2. Pulse until smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed.
  3. If the hummus is too thick, add water one tablespoon at a time until desired consistency is reached.
