Mexican Pork Tacos Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb of pork shoulder, cut into small cubes
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp of ground cumin
  • 1 tsp of chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp of paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8-10 corn tortillas
  • Cilantro, chopped
  • 2 limes, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the diced onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes until it becomes translucent.
  3. Add the garlic and cubed pork.
  4. Sauté for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pork is browned and cooked through.
  5. Add the cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  6. Stir well to combine all the flavors.
  7. Remove from heat and set aside.
  8. Warm the tortillas in a skillet or griddle.
  9. Assemble the tacos by placing a spoonful of the pork mixture on each tortilla and topping with chopped cilantro and a squeeze of lime juice.

Serving Suggestions

These Mexican pork tacos are delicious with a side of rice, black beans, and diced tomatoes. You can also try adding some sliced avocado or a dollop of sour cream on top for some extra creaminess.
