Mexican Pork Tacos Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 lb of pork shoulder, cut into small cubes
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp of ground cumin
- 1 tsp of chili powder
- 1/2 tsp of paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8-10 corn tortillas
- Cilantro, chopped
- 2 limes, cut into wedges
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the diced onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes until it becomes translucent.
- Add the garlic and cubed pork.
- Sauté for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pork is browned and cooked through.
- Add the cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Stir well to combine all the flavors.
- Remove from heat and set aside.
- Warm the tortillas in a skillet or griddle.
- Assemble the tacos by placing a spoonful of the pork mixture on each tortilla and topping with chopped cilantro and a squeeze of lime juice.
Serving Suggestions
These Mexican pork tacos are delicious with a side of rice, black beans, and diced tomatoes. You can also try adding some sliced avocado or a dollop of sour cream on top for some extra creaminess.
