Minced Meat, Mint and Onion Turnover

Ingredients:

  • 500g minced meat
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon mint leaves, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pack puff pastry sheets
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200C/400F.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, stir and cook until the onion is soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the minced meat to the skillet and cook until brown and fully cooked, about 10 minutes.
