Peach Chutney Pork Chops Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 2 peaches, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper.
  3. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add pork chops and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown. Remove chops from skillet and set aside.
  4. Add onion, garlic, and ginger to skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until onion is softened.
  5. Stir in peaches, apple cider vinegar, honey, cinnamon, and allspice. Cook for 5 minutes or until peaches are soft and mixture is slightly thickened.
  6. Return pork chops to the skillet and spoon peach chutney over the top.
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until pork is cooked through and tender.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve the peach chutney pork chops with a side of roasted vegetables or a fresh salad. The sweetness of the chutney pairs well with bitter greens like arugula or radicchio.
