Savory Pull-Apart Bread Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 pound of bread dough, homemade or store-bought
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Flour a flat surface and roll out the bread dough to a rectangle shape (about 10×12 inches).
- Brush the melted butter onto the dough, then sprinkle the shredded cheese, chives, garlic powder, and salt over the top.
- Cut the dough into small squares, about 2 inches each.
- Gently stack the squares on top of each other in a loaf pan, so that they are standing up and leaning slightly to one side. You’ll have approximately 3 rows of 3 squares each.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown on top.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes.
- Carefully pull apart the bread squares and serve warm.
