Strawberry Crumble
Ingredients
- 4 cups diced strawberries
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss together diced strawberries, granulated sugar, and cornstarch until the strawberries are coated well.
- Spread the strawberry mixture evenly onto the bottom of an 8×8 inch baking dish.
- In another mixing bowl, combine flour, cubed butter, brown sugar, and rolled oats. Use a pastry blender or your fingers to mix everything together until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly over the strawberries in the baking dish.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the strawberries are bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
- Remove the strawberry crumble from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes.
