Wok of Fried Noodles with Chicken, Peas and Gourmet Peas Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 300g dried egg noodles
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 boneless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup gourmet peas
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. Start by cooking the egg noodles according to the instructions on the packet. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or frying pan over high heat. Add the garlic and onion and cook for 2-3 minutes, until softened and fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes, until browned and cooked through.
  4. Next, add the frozen peas and gourmet peas, and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked noodles to the wok, along with the soy sauce and oyster sauce. Mix everything together well, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until heated through and the sauce has coated everything nicely.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Remove from the heat and serve immediately, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
