Anti-Diabetes Chocolate Fondant Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/3 cup sugar-free chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350F° and grease 6 small ramekins with coconut oil.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the cocoa powder, coconut flour, almond flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
- In a saucepan, melt the chocolate chips, almond milk, coconut oil, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is smooth.
- Stir the chocolate mixture into the dry ingredients until thoroughly combined. Divide the batter between the ramekins.
- Bake the fondants for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set and the center is still slightly soft. Remove them from the oven and let them cool for 1-2 minutes before turning them out onto serving plates.
