Apple Pear Crumble: Gluten-Free Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups of thinly sliced apples
  • 4 cups of thinly sliced pears
  • 3/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 cup of gluten-free oats
  • 1/2 cup of almond flour
  • 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp of nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter or coconut oil

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a separate mixing bowl, combine the gluten-free oats, almond flour, chopped walnuts, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In another mixing bowl, mix together the apples, pears, brown sugar, and melted butter or coconut oil. Then, pour the fruit mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly on top of the fruit mixture. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve while hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or a drizzle of caramel sauce, and enjoy the warm and comforting flavors.
