Apple, Pear, Orange Strudel
Ingredients
- 2 apples, peeled and diced
- 2 pears, peeled and diced
- 1 orange, zested and juiced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 6 sheets phyllo dough
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a large bowl, combine diced apples, pears, orange juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- On a clean surface, lay out one sheet of phyllo dough and brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Repeat with remaining sheets of phyllo dough.
- Spoon apple and pear mixture onto the phyllo dough, leaving about 1 inch of space around the edges. Fold in the side edges and roll the phyllo dough like a log, tucking in the edges as you go.
- Place the strudel on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush with melted butter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
