Asian Broth Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tbsp grated ginger
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp miso paste
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 6 cups of chicken or vegetable stock
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 2 cups baby bok choy
- 2 cups cooked rice noodles
- 2 chopped green onions
- 1 handful of chopped cilantro
Instructions:
- In a large pot, heat the oil and sauté the onion, garlic and ginger until the onion has softened.
- Add the soy sauce, fish sauce, miso paste, and sesame oil. Stir and let cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in the chicken or vegetable stock and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add in the mushrooms and chicken, simmer for another 10 minutes.
- Finally, add the baby bok choy, rice noodles, green onions, and cilantro. Let cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
