Banana, Pear and Chocolate Speculoos Crumble
Ingredients:
- 3 ripe bananas
- 2 pears
- 50g chocolate chips
- 75g speculoos biscuits
- 75g unsalted butter
- 75g brown sugar
- 50g plain flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 180C (160C fan)/350F/Gas 4.
- Peel and slice the bananas and pears, and place them in a baking dish.
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan.
- Add the brown sugar, and stir until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, cinnamon, salt and crushed speculoos biscuits.
- Add the melted butter and sugar mixture to the dry ingredients, and mix together using a fork until a crumbly mixture forms.
- Add the chocolate chips to the crumbly mixture, and stir through.
- Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the top of the fruit in the baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the crumble is golden brown and the fruit is soft and tender.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
