Brick cake (Layered no-bake cake)


Brick Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 225g Graham crackers
  • 170g unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts, almonds, pecans)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, crumble up the graham crackers into fine crumbs.
  2. Melt the butter in a microwave or on a stove top and add it to the graham cracker crumbs
  3. Mix the butter and graham crackers together until it forms a thick paste that sticks together.
  4. Press the graham cracker mixture into the bottom of a well-greased loaf pan, making sure the layer is even.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or on a stove top and set it aside to cool for a few minutes.
  6. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until it forms stiff peaks.
  7. After that, mix the chocolate chips and Nutella together in a separate bowl.
  8. Add the whipped cream into the chocolate and Nutella mixture until fully combined.
  9. Then, pour half of the Nutella mixture onto the graham cracker base, spreading it out evenly.
  10. Add chopped nuts on top of the Nutella mixture.
  11. Pour the remaining Nutella mixture on top of the chopped nuts, making sure it is evenly spread.
  12. Finish it off with a layer of chopped nuts on top of the Nutella layer.
  13. Cover the loaf pan and allow the cake to set in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  14. Once the cake is well set, remove it from the pan and slice into portions.
