Ingredients
- 12 dried figs, stemmed and chopped
- 1/2 cup Vacherin Mont-d’Or AOP, grated
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 12 sheets phyllo dough
- 1/4 cup olive oil
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the chopped figs, grated Vacherin Mont-d’Or AOP, butter, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place a sheet of phyllo dough on a work surface and brush it with oil. Repeat with the remaining sheets.
- Cut the stacked phyllo sheets into 12 equal rectangles.
- Place a tablespoon of the filling onto the center of each rectangle.
- Fold the corners of each rectangle inward, wrapping the filling inside like a package. Press the edges together to seal.
