Brioche lost in the oven – Delicious Recipe
Ingredients:
- 500g of all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons of active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup of butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon of salt
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, yeast, and sugar.
- In a separate bowl, microwave the milk until slightly warm and add in the eggs. Mix together.
- Add in the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients mixture and stir until a dough forms.
- Stir in the butter and salt until well combined and the dough is smooth.
- Cover the dough with a damp cloth and set aside in a warm place for 1 to 2 hours, until the dough has doubled in size.
- On a floured surface, knead the dough until smooth. Cut into small pieces and shape them into small balls.
- Place the balls onto a greased baking tray, making sure there is enough space between each ball to allow them to rise. Cover with a damp cloth.
- Let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
