Brioche lost in the oven – Delicious Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 500g of all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons of active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, yeast, and sugar.
  3. In a separate bowl, microwave the milk until slightly warm and add in the eggs. Mix together.
  4. Add in the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients mixture and stir until a dough forms.
  5. Stir in the butter and salt until well combined and the dough is smooth.
  6. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and set aside in a warm place for 1 to 2 hours, until the dough has doubled in size.
  7. On a floured surface, knead the dough until smooth. Cut into small pieces and shape them into small balls.
  8. Place the balls onto a greased baking tray, making sure there is enough space between each ball to allow them to rise. Cover with a damp cloth.
  9. Let rise for another 30 minutes.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown.
  11. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
