Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup chocolate chip cookie dough, room temperature
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350F. Grease and line with parchment paper a 9-inch square baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together butter and sugar until smooth and creamy. Add eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Add vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually beat in the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until no streaks of flour remain. Fold in chocolate chips and pecans.
- Spread the brownie batter evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Drop spoonfuls of chocolate chip cookie dough on top of the brownie batter, spacing them evenly. Use a knife or spatula to swirl the cookie dough into the brownie batter.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the brookie is set and the cookie dough is lightly golden brown.
- Let cool for 10-15 minutes. Cut into squares and serve.
