Ingredients:

  1. 4-5 clementines, thinly sliced
  2. 1 cup sugar
  3. 1 cup water

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 175°C.
  2. Place a wire rack on a baking sheet.
  3. In a saucepan, mix together the sugar and water and heat on medium-high heat until the sugar has dissolved.
  4. Add the clementines slices to the sugar syrup and reduce the heat to medium-low. Let the clementines cook for about 10 minutes until they are soft and translucent.
  5. Transfer the clementine slices to the wire rack using tongs and allow them to dry for 5 minutes.
  6. Place the wire rack on the baking sheet and bake the clementines for 25-30 minutes, turning them over halfway, until they are caramelized and dry.
  7. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the candied clementines cool.
