Chicken Koftas Recipe
Ingredients:
- 500g ground chicken
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp fresh chopped cilantro
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, garam masala, chili powder, cilantro, egg, salt and pepper. Mix well to combine.
- Shape the mixture into small sausage shapes, about 2-3 inches long and 1 inch in width.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the koftas and fry on all sides until golden brown and crispy, about 8-10 minutes.
- Once cooked, transfer the koftas to a paper towel-lined plate to drain off any excess oil.
