Chicken Koftas Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 500g ground chicken
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tbsp fresh chopped cilantro
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, garam masala, chili powder, cilantro, egg, salt and pepper. Mix well to combine.
  2. Shape the mixture into small sausage shapes, about 2-3 inches long and 1 inch in width.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the koftas and fry on all sides until golden brown and crispy, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Once cooked, transfer the koftas to a paper towel-lined plate to drain off any excess oil.
