Chocolate Chip Milk Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
- 4 cups bread flour
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 cup whole milk, room temperature
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 egg, lightly beaten for egg wash
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, add the bread flour, granulated sugar, instant yeast, and salt. Mix until combined.
- Add the unsalted butter, whole milk, and large eggs. Mix on low speed until the dough comes together.
- Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. If the dough is too sticky, sprinkle a little flour into the bowl. Add the chocolate chips and knead for another minute.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it with a damp towel. Let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
- Punch down the dough to release the air. Divide the dough into two. Shape each piece into a ball and place them in two greased 8-inch loaf pans. Cover with the damp towel and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Brush the tops with the egg wash.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and the bread sounds hollow when tapped.
- Remove the bread from the pans and let them cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.

This chocolate chip milk bread is soft, fluffy, and delicious. The chocolate chips add a sweet surprise to every bite, making it perfect for breakfast, snack, or dessert.
