Chocolate Salami Recipe
Ingredients:
- 200g dark chocolate, finely chopped
- 100g unsalted butter, cut into small cubes
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/2 cup dried fruit (optional)
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions:
- In a medium bowl, melt the chocolate and butter together in the microwave or using a double boiler. Stir until smooth and set aside to cool.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until light and foamy in texture.
- Add the cooled chocolate mixture to the egg and sugar mixture and whisk well.
- Add the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and vanilla extract to the mixture and stir until everything is well combined.

- Cut a sheet of parchment paper and lay it flat on a clean surface. Pour the chocolate mixture on top of the parchment paper.
- Form the mixture into a log shape by rolling up the parchment paper tightly around the chocolate mixture. Twist the ends of the paper tightly to seal.
- Refrigerate the log for at least 3 hours or until it is firm enough to slice.
- Remove the log from the refrigerator and unwrap the paper. Dust the log with powdered sugar and slice it into rounds using a sharp knife.
