Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9-inch (23-cm) cake pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add cubed butter to the flour mixture and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
