Cocoa Tiramisu – Treat


Cocoa Tiramisu Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1/4 cup dark rum or coffee liqueur
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream, whipped
  • 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 24 ladyfingers

Instructions:

  1. Combine coffee, rum (or coffee liqueur), and cocoa in a shallow dish; stir until well combined.
  2. Beat cream cheese and sugar in a large mixing bowl until smooth and creamy.
  3. Gently fold in whipped cream and mascarpone cheese.
  4. Dip half of the ladyfingers in the coffee mixture and layer them in a 9×13 inch dish.
  5. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the ladyfingers.
  6. Repeat with remaining ladyfingers and cream cheese mixture.
  7. Dust cocoa powder over the top of the tiramisu.
  8. Cover tiramisu and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
