Crispy Tart Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
- 3 tablespoons of ice water
- 1 egg white, beaten

- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 yellow bell pepper, chopped

Instructions:

- Add the ice water and mix until the dough comes together. Press the dough into a ball and wrap it in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375F. Roll the dough out onto a floured surface until it’s about 1/8 inch thick. Press the dough into a tart dish and trim the excess dough.
- Prick the bottom of the crust with a fork and brush with the beaten egg white. Bake for 10 minutes.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil and add the onions. Cook for 5 minutes. Add the bell peppers and cook for an additional 5 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
- Spoon the vegetable mixture into the baked crust. Sprinkle the parmesan and cheddar cheese over the vegetables. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown. Let the tart cool for a few minutes before serving.
