Easy Chocolate Muffins – Treat

Ingredients:

  • 1 and 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add in the vegetable oil, milk, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  4. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  5. Line a muffin tin with paper liners. Fill each liner about 2/3 full with batter.
  6. Bake the muffins for about 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center.
  7. Remove from the oven and allow to cool in the muffin tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
