Easy Pancakes: Chef’s Recipe
Ingredients (serves 4-6):
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In a separate mixing bowl, beat the egg and add in the milk and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, and stir until combined.
Cooking the Pancakes:
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Spoon about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the pan.
- Cook until bubbles appear on the surface, then flip and cook the other side until it’s golden brown.
- Repeat until all the batter is used up.
