Fish gratin – Delicious


Fish Gratin Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 fillets of white fish (e.g. cod, haddock, tilapia)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a large baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  2. Cut the fish fillets into bite-sized pieces and arrange them in an even layer in the baking dish. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Pour the mixture over the fish.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the panko breadcrumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the fish and cream mixture.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the fish is cooked through.
  6. Let the fish gratin cool for a few minutes before serving.

Serving suggestion

Serve with a side of roasted or steamed vegetables, such as broccoli or carrots. The fish gratin is also delicious with a side of garlic mashed potatoes.
