Ingredients:

  • 12 fresh oysters
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Shuck the oysters and remove the meat from the shells, leaving the deeper half of each shell intact.
  3. Arrange the oysters, rounded side down, in a baking dish.

  5. Add the Panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
