Honey and Cranberry Bowl Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup honey
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch bowl.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add in the vanilla extract and salt and mix well.
- Sift together the flour and baking powder and mix into the batter alternately with the milk until the batter is smooth. Fold in the dried cranberries.
- Pour the honey into the greased bowl and swirl it around to coat the bottom of the bowl. Pour the batter into the bowl and smooth down the top.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Remove the cake from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
- Run a butter knife around the edge of the bowl to loosen the cake. Invert onto a plate and tap the bottom of the bowl to release the cake. Serve warm with whipped cream.
