Individual Blueberry Clafoutis Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Butter four ramekins and place them into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Divide the blueberries among the ramekins and set aside.
  4. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and salt.
  5. In a separate large bowl, beat eggs, milk, and vanilla until combined.
  6. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture and whisk until smooth.
  7. Stir in melted butter until combined.
  8. Pour the mixture over the blueberries making sure to evenly distribute the mixture among the four ramekins.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the clafoutis are puffed and golden brown.
  10. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
  11. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve the individual blueberry clafoutis warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream. Sliced almonds or fresh berries can also be added as a garnish. These clafoutis also make a delightful breakfast treat!
