Individual Blueberry Clafoutis Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Butter four ramekins and place them into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Divide the blueberries among the ramekins and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and salt.
- In a separate large bowl, beat eggs, milk, and vanilla until combined.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture and whisk until smooth.
- Stir in melted butter until combined.
- Pour the mixture over the blueberries making sure to evenly distribute the mixture among the four ramekins.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the clafoutis are puffed and golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Serving Suggestions:
Serve the individual blueberry clafoutis warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream. Sliced almonds or fresh berries can also be added as a garnish. These clafoutis also make a delightful breakfast treat!
