Jewish-style Artichokes Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 medium artichokes
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cut off the top 1/2 inch of the artichoke and remove any small leaves at the base.
- Boil the artichokes in a large pot of salted water for 20-25 minutes or until a leaf pulls out easily.
- In a separate bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic, parsley, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
