Makis – Treat Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups sushi rice
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 5 sheets of nori

Instructions:

- Place a sheet of nori shiny side down on a bamboo sushi mat. Spread a thin layer of rice over the nori, leaving a 1-inch border at the top.
- Arrange a few slices of avocado, cucumber, carrot, and red pepper in a line across the rice, about 1 inch from the bottom.
- Use the mat to roll the nori and rice over the vegetables, pressing gently to keep the roll compact.
- Continue rolling until the entire sheet of nori is rolled up. Repeat with the remaining nori and rice.
- Using a sharp knife, slice the rolls into bite-size pieces.
- Serve with soy sauce and wasabi.
