Mini-Moelleux with Chocolate, Honey and Mint Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 90 grams of dark chocolate
  • 3 eggs
  • 50 grams of butter
  • 50 grams of sugar
  • 30 grams of flour
  • 3 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh mint leaves

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C/350°F.
  2. Melt the chocolate and butter in a double boiler.
  3. Separate the egg whites and yolks.
  4. Beat the egg yolks with sugar until they become pale in colour.
  5. Add melted chocolate mixture to the egg yolks and mix well.
  6. Add flour to the mixture and mix until smooth.
  7. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites until they form firm peaks.
  8. Gently fold the beaten egg whites in the chocolate mixture.
  9. Add honey and chopped fresh mint leaves to the batter and mix until well incorporated.
  10. Pour the batter into a greased mini-muffin tin.
  11. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  12. Let cool for 5 minutes before removing from the molds.
